This month, we’re excited to have guest instructor Rachel Farley teaching a special Bachata class. The second class will be a Latin-Blues Fusion class teaching you how to incorporate Latin movement into your blues dancing.

This month, we’re excited to start the evening with classes from a fantastic group of local instructors:
Having recently returned from a three month tour teaching classes across Europe, Kenny Nelson is excited to kick off the evening with a beginning blues class. A native Coloradan, Kenny has been an integral part of Denver’s dance scene as an accomplished competitive dancer and phenomenal teacher. He has competed and performed with 23 Skidoo, the Balboa Justice League, and Boulder Swing Dance. Kenny’s class will leave you with a smile on your face and the confidence to shake those hips while out on the floor.
We’ve invited local tango superstars, Nick Jones and Diana Cruz, to teach the beginning tango class. Their passion for the dance and energy as teachers are easily accessible for both beginners and tangueros alike.
Later, DJs John Miller and Kenny Nelson will masterfully mix tango and blues for your dancing pleasure. Stick around for late-night fusion with our favorite after-midnight DJ, Noah Nethero.

Join us for another sultry Hot Night of Tango and Blues dancing at Denver’s swanky City Hall Nightclub.
Mr. Brian Abe, known for his suave moves and classy style, will kick off the evening with a really fun (because Brian is just plain fun) fundamental blues class. Brian has been teaching Lindy Hop since 2003, traveled to numerous national dance events, has been involved with the Denver blues scene since its inception, and just took 2nd place in the 2012 Mile High Blues Jack and Jill Competition. All that combined with Brian’s contagious energy will leave you with a smile on your face and the unquenchable feeling that you are ready to rock (or, more accurately, blues)!
Tango superstars Donato Juarez and Carolina Del Rivero, one of the most prestigious couples from Argentina and hosted by the world renowned instructors Gustavo and Giselle, will teach the all levels fundamental tango class. Their passionate and energetic teaching style is easily accessible for all levels of dancer, from the blues dancer wanting to learn fundamental tango to the more experienced tango dancer wanting to work on tango technique and structure. Leave thinking, I only spent $5 for a lesson from world class instructors. This is a NOT TO BE MISSED opportunity.
Add in John Miller and Noah Nethero, two of Denver’s best Tango and Blues DJs, and this is going to be one electrifying Hot Night of Tango and Blues dancing.

Celebrate the beautiful spring weather with a Hot Night of Tango and Blues dancing at City Hall Nightclub on April 14. Many of you joined us last time in City Hall’s swanky loft space with its wonderfully huge dance floor, lounge area with pool tables for anyone wanting to take a break from dancing, and low lighting for a sultry ambiance.
